Privacy policy

Account information
Creating an account sends your name and email address to Zoho Catalyst, our account provider. Catalyst handles email confirmation, password setup, sign-in and password recovery. We do not store your password in browser storage.
Practice data
Attempts, selected answers, timings and bookmarks are saved in this browser. When signed in and online, a copy of your attempts syncs to your account in private Zoho Catalyst storage and can be restored in another signed-in browser. Bookmarks remain on this device. Account administrators can inspect and export synced preparation and attempt records for support and account management. Use Settings to export your preparation and practice history. Export before clearing browser data, especially if a sync has failed.
Preparation workspaces
When you save preparation settings, TestGuruji stores your selected exams, preferences, study goals, syllabus checklist, revision notes and writing drafts in encrypted Zoho Catalyst object storage. These records are associated with your authenticated account and served through an account-scoped API. Students cannot access the storage bucket directly. Revision notes and writing should not contain passwords, identification documents or other sensitive personal information. Immutable save revisions are retained for recovery; removing an item from the current workspace does not immediately erase earlier revisions. Download your saved preparation from Settings. Course progress and support
Signed-in learning activities, submitted assessment answers, server-calculated results and lesson progress are stored privately in your account. Your support requests include the account email, message, references and replies. Authorised support administrators can read and reply to requests; replies are shown in your signed-in inbox. These records use versioned or immutable storage, so a retention and account-deletion process must cover historical revisions as well as current records. Do not put passwords, payment credentials or sensitive identity documents in course notes or support messages.
Cookies and service requests
Zoho Catalyst uses cookies to maintain your account session. Hosting and account services may process request logs needed to operate and secure the website.
Emails
Account confirmation and password recovery emails are sent by the account provider when you request them. Marketing alerts and newsletters are not enabled.
Personalised AI tests
Generated tests and submitted answers, suggested keys, explanations and feedback are saved privately to your account. You can reopen saved tests and export an individual test with its saved feedback from the study lab. Generation can use the selected exam, goals, revision notes, writing prompts, synced attempt activity and separate foundation-course progress when you choose context sharing. The topic-only choice sends only exam, topic and language. Unsubmitted selections are not saved. AI keys and feedback can be incorrect and are not independently verified exam marks. Historical test records remain retained; contact support for retention or deletion requests.
Optional AI tools
When you opt in to an AI request, your study text, supplied notes and selected preparation context are sent to Sarvam AI. Speech requests send the selected response text to Sarvam. Official-source search sends exam and topic words to Bing; it does not send your written answer or profile. Retrieved pages and AI suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Avoid sensitive personal information. Choosing preparation without AI makes no AI request.
Payments
Real paid subscriptions are not open. Administrator-only sandbox checkout sends test payment details directly to Razorpay. Test details must be used. We store your account identifier as a hash with the test subscription and verification record in private cloud storage. We do not receive or store card details. Test checkout does not charge real money. The exam-pass test flow can activate a seven-day test pass for the selected scope; it is not a paid purchase or a live subscription.
Your controls
You can sign out and export preparation and practice records from Settings. Archiving or deleting an exam workspace does not delete your account or immediately erase historical cloud revisions. See Contact for the current support and privacy-request route. Account-wide deletion and a published retention schedule must be established before paid sales open.
